# 期待値

> 期待値とは、1回の取引の平均的な結果をリスク1単位あたりで表したもので、勝率×ペイオフレシオから敗率を引いて求めます。勝率45%・ペイオフ2:1の戦略の期待値は+0.35で、十分に長い試行の中で1単位のリスクごとに平均0.35単位を得ることを意味します。期待値がゼロ以下なら、サイジングもレバレッジも規律も、その戦略を利益に変えることはできません。

## 計算方法

Expectancy per unit risked = (Win rate × Payoff ratio) − Loss rate

Break-even win rate = 1 ÷ (Payoff ratio + 1)
Expectancy ≤ 0 means no position size makes the strategy profitable.

## 計算例

勝率45%・ペイオフ2:1 → (0.45 × 2) − 0.55 = リスク1単位あたり+0.35。

## 勝率単体には意味がない

1回の負けが9回の勝ちの合計を上回るなら、勝率90%でも負ける戦略です。逆にペイオフ3:1なら勝率35%でも十分に利益が出ます。期待値は両者を結合した最小の数値であり、戦略評価で最初に計算すべきで、最後まで手放すべきでない統計量である理由がここにあります。

## コストは利益からではなく期待値から引かれる

手数料、スリッページ、資金調達は取引ごとに差し引かれるため、ペイオフレシオを直接押し下げます。総期待値+0.1単位で往復コストが0.12単位の戦略は負ける戦略ですが、摩擦を省いたバックテストでは勝つ戦略に見えます。

## よくある誤読

短い標本から求めた期待値が戦略固有の性質として扱われがちです。それは推定値であり不安定で、数十回の取引では本物の優位性と幸運な連続を区別できません。過学習したシステムが、自信ありげな統計値をまとって実運用に到達する経路がこれです。
