Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your QANTERION account and what happens to your data. It is the public reference linked from the app stores and from the app’s account settings.

How to request deletion

Deletion is requested inside the QANTERION app:

  1. Open Me → Delete account.
  2. Confirm your identity. Password accounts re-enter the account password. Accounts that sign in only with Google or Apple complete a fresh sign-in step-up instead.
  3. Submit the request. You can cancel it from the same screen while it is still pending.

Requesting deletion from a browser session or by email is not supported; the in-app flow is the only entry point, because it is the one path that always re-verifies the account holder.

Conditions that must be resolved first

The server checks the account before accepting and again before executing a deletion. The app lists any blockers it returns — for example a remaining live balance, a running strategy, an open position, or a deposit or withdrawal still in flight. Resolve the listed items and retry; the request re-evaluates automatically.

What happens when deletion runs

  • All sessions are revoked and sign-in credentials (password, Google/Apple links, passkeys, recovery and verification codes) are deleted.
  • Apple sign-in grants are revoked with Apple directly.
  • Push devices and notification registrations are removed.
  • Saved withdrawal addresses are revoked.
  • The account profile is anonymised: email, username, display name and avatar are replaced with non-identifying placeholders and the account is disabled.

What is retained

Financial records — ledger entries, funding and payment records, and audit logs — are retained under the anonymised account reference, because they are the platform’s books and must remain intact for accounting, dispute and legal obligations. A minimal eligibility tombstone (for example, that a trial was consumed) is kept for a limited period to prevent trial abuse, then expires.
